It seems you’re already using a full-size image with the “Metaslider” plugin. If you have any questions about its features, I’d recommend checking out their support forum: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/ml-slider/
Alternatively, with the “Twenty Sixteen” theme you’re using, you can definitely achieve this kind of layout without any additional plugins if you work with the Block Editor and use the Cover Block there: https://wordpress.org/documentation/article/cover-block/ – note that the image you want to display should be large enough for this; I’d recommend at least 1900 pixels, or better yet, around 2600.
Alternatively, you can, of course, use any other theme you prefer. All block-based themes offer the Cover Block as an option. Without the Block Editor, however, you’ll need a plugin like Metaslider, a page builder like Elementor, or a theme specifically designed for this purpose. Unfortunately, off the top of my head, I’m not aware of any themes that fit the latter description.
Hi, apologies, I didn’t get an email notification that you had replied. I will check my settings. I managed to get the meta slider full width using a full width cover page plug in.
I’ll look at the block editor link you have sent as well, as I had been wondering about changing themes. I have another question but will start another thread.
