Home Page

Hi, I am trying to edit a page using Visual Composer and when i do and click on update (It tells me it’s successful), the changes i did do not appear on the actual page. I noticed that the home page i was editing on had this link : “http://michesca.com/#section_page-156” instead of just michesca.com which is the link to my home page in the pages section in my dashboard. Can someone explain to me where this #section_page-156 comes from? I am using a theme called Maple.
