I’m setting up WordPress version 3.8.1 on my website. It’s installed at the domain root (http://www.mywebsite.com/%5Bwordpress installation]). I added a “Home” page. Afterward when editing the menu settings I noticed that there were two entries for Home. Upon further investigation I discovered that the Home page I made had a permalink of http://www.mywebsite.com/home/. So, now I have two questions:
Since I’m only able to get at one of the Home pages shown in the menu settings, how do I get rid of the extra Home page, so that I have only one editable Home page?
Admin Dashboard>Settings>Reading>Front Page Displays>Radio Button:A static page (select below)>Pick Home from list>Save Changes>If required clear all server cache/cdn and local browser cache (a page refresh may suffice).
