Holiday feature?

    We love this plugin! We have a client who would like to enter holiday dates, when their building is closed. On those dates, the calendar would not display any reoccurring events that would normally appear.

    For example, if Christmas were a Tuesday, on December 25 the calendar would just say “Holiday, Center Closed” and none of the regularly scheduled Tuesday events would appear.

    We do know that we can manually achieve this, but the client was wondering, given the number of reoccurring events they have throughout the year, if this were something that could be automated.

    Not in the current version – though the change that would enable you to remove ‘holiday’ dates from an event schedule would be quite small so I’ll include in 1.8.2: I’ll be adding a hook to filter event information (including dates excluded from the event’s schedule).

    You can then use that filter to add in the dates that are in the event schedule, which you want excluded.
