Shortcodes in content not rendered and displayed as text

    Hi team,

    I use short-codes in my posts.

    Now the issue is: When choosing content for post meta key, it is showing short-codes used in the front-end.

    The shortcodes in the content are not rendered and are displayed as text.

    Also, how can I highlight the most recent posts added to the carousel. Is there any way to do that.

    I am using the default Shortcode [wcp-carousel id=”XX23″]

    You can display recent posts using

    [wcp-carousel id="xx23" order="DESC" orderby="date"]

    Make sure you’re using this shortcode in Text Editor of Visual Composer.

    Hi Rameez,

    I used the code mentioned by you and this do not solve my issue. Let me rephrase my issue.

    I am using carousel on my main page to display the posts in my system on the basis of categories.

    The posts in my system are created using visual composer by adding few short-codes.

    When I am accessing the main page from front-end, I am able to view the short-codes as text in the content (I am using content as the post meta key).

    I want short-codes to render.

    Hi Rameez,
    The Visual Composer shortcode is displaying in the carousel (rpc-post-para rpc-content). The html isn’t rendering.
    We changed the theme to 2017 to see if there was a conflict – the vc shortcodes still display.
    Is the plugin compatible with Visual Composer please?
