Been trying various content management systems for a “Scout Group” website. I like certain aspects of WordPress, a blog accessible by Leaders who can post up to date news (especially from mobile phones, lots of apps for this) and add content about Scouting activities, etc.
I also need to add various roles for certain parental groups, I believe I’ve found a plugin for this, “User Role Editor” seems to do what I need.
The only other aspect of the site that I’ve not been able to achieve is hide chosen menus from the pubic but allow access to registered users (I can do it in Drupal, but I find Drupal really hard work and has virtually no support for adding content from mobile phones).
Can WordPress do this and are there any modules that facilitate this.
Thanks,
Andrew
