    Removing the out of stock attribute as an option in the frontend requires WooCommerce to load all variations at once when the page is loaded. This is bad if there are many variations, as it causes performance issues.

    If you want WooCommerce to load more variations on the front-end than the default amount though, then this plugin can help: https://wordpress.org/plugins/woo-simple-variation-tools/
