In WCPT PRO there is a facility called archive override that can be used to replace the product grid on your shop / search / category pages with specific tables that you choose. If you have enabled this facility for the Search page then you will get your product search results in a table that you chose, instead of a grid. Now you can provide the user with the WooCommerce default search widget on any page and when they conduct a search they will be redirected to the Search page where they will see their results in a table. I believe this is effectively similar to the result you desire.
No, I actually just want to hide the items inside the table unless a search was made. The search bar is still the table navigation, it’s just the items are hidden by default. And when I search an item, everything related to the search will pop up. And when I cancel the search all items will be hidden again. I want to do this specifically, how can I do this? Oh, and if I may ask a following question, does the latest version you are about release contain the option to set the default quantity to 0? Thank you!
1. The facility you ask for – only display products if there is a search query – is not available right now. I will add it to PRO v2.0 however, since it seems very useful. This will delay the release a bit.
2. Yes, you will be able to set the quantity to 0 with the PRO v2.0 for the plugin.
