    Hi,

I am trying to have two types of users, “Organizers” and “Participants”. I want the “my Events” menu (which is where you can submit new events and edit your current events) to be hidden from the “Participants” and the “My Bookings” (where you can look at what events you are registered for) submenu to be hidden for the “Organizers”. I have tried a lot, including a plugin that hides menu items by roles, but I cannot get this to work.

Is there a place I can modify the plugin to include a conditional on the submenus displayed on the “events” page?

    Thanks!

did you try under Events > Settings > General > User Capabilities?

Yes, I did, and the link shows up for everyone. It just says “You do not have permission to create events” on the “My Events” page. I’d prefer for that link not to show up at all.

Just to clarify: You’re looking for a way to hide the Add New link on the My Events page?
