The Pro version disables the “Hide” button by default because usually it’s better (and more secure) to use role checkboxes instead.
However, if you need the button, you can re-enable it. Click the “Settings” button next to the “Menu Editor Pro” page header and check the box that says “Enable the “Show/Hide” toolbar button”.
Thanks for the crazy fast response!
What do you mean by “more secure”?
I saw the checkbox function in each role. But that would mean needing to do the same edit at least five times, right? My thought about hiding on the ALL tab was that I could do edits for everyone but Super Admins which is my goal.
Using the checkbox is more secure because, when you uncheck a menu item, that hides it and prevents people from accessing it. On the other hand, the “Hide” button just makes the menu item invisible. If someone manually types in the page URL, they can still access the “hidden” item.

Yes, unfortunately that is the case. If you only need to hide a couple of items, you can speed up the process by clicking the “Edit…” button next to the “Permissions” field. This will pop up a new overlay with a list of roles and a checkbox for each one.
