    Hi Philipp,

    I had to put the search form inside a <div id='buddypress'>, otherwise standard themes won’t apply proper styling to the search form.

    On the other hand BuddyBoss doesn’t seem to work well with that enclosing div.

    I’ll get in touch with the BuddyBoss team to try and find a solution, and I’ll keep you informed.

    I am the developer of the BuddyBoss theme. Can you post a link to your site, or send the link to support @ buddyboss.com referencing this thread. I am working with Andrea to figure this out, and so far I cannot reproduce the problem. If I can see if on your live site I can figure out it out pretty fast.
