When reviewing my website on Google Webmaster tools in structured data errors it is stating that the authorship is missing. Here is what its stating:

Data Type Source Pages Items with Errors
hentry Markup: microformats.org 23 20

Can anyone help me in correcting this. Here is a link to one of my static pages which is stating its missing the author. I am using the Customizr theme:

You need to follow the instructions from Google: https://support.google.com/websearch/answer/3382004

Does anyone now whether not fixing this will affect your google ranking?

If you’re already a popular author, yes, as this will associate you with the page.

I note that the Yoast SEO plugin deals with this: https://yoast.com/push-rel-author-head/
