Hi Tara, How do I access the database? Is there a guide to that? I am obviously not well versed with this.

Every server is different. Contact your hosting provider for assistance with that.
Hi Tara,
We own and run the server, it’s Windows and there is no hosting provider. Does that help?

This means you are hosting your site, yourself.
Currently have it installed on a windows server 2008 with MySQL running
Then you should know where that MySQL is. All your databases should be in there.
Hi Tara,
Okay, I had to take a crash course in MYSQL and was able to edit the appropriate table as illustrated in your dialogue.
Unfortunately, we cannot hit anything at all. When I go to the site:
http://servername/wordpress/
Normally we could see the site, it just is blank completely.
When I try to go to http://servername/wordpress/wp-admin or admin or login
Blank. I restarted the server in hopes that it would come up, but it did not. Thoughts? Thank you again for your quick responses, you have been a life saver. Very swamped here at my office.
Hi Tara,
Okay so I believe I fixed it. I did some research and found another post where you mentioned with another user that “blank pages are usually PHP errors”. I went back through ALL the files I had initially edited with Notepad++ and found no inconsistencies. I also downloaded a new install of wordpress and compared the php files, no difference (Except obviously the config file).
In kind of a frustrating moment, I just decided to reinstall the WordPress by overwriting all the files from wwwroot, except for the wp-content folder and the wp-config file. Once I did that, it came back online, FULLY functional.
I am sorry for the multiple posts, but I figured I would update the ticket.
Thank you so much for your help and quick attention.
