Help with User profiles – saving checkbox input

Apologies if this is very obvious – I’m pretty new to this stuff.

I’ve set up a WordPress website which on one page has about 12 tutorials. Users can create profiles and log in to the website but I need a way whereby each user can check off the tutorials they have completed them. I have checkboxes for each one but if a user ticks a checkbox it doesn’t save it when the user logs in the next time. Ideally I’d like them to be able to click on a completed tutorial and for it to move to another “completed” column and for this choice to be saved when they login again

Any help or starting point with this would be much appreciated!
