Help with updates and PayPal buttons | WordPress.org

Every time I get one of these messages: “Howdy! Some plugins have automatically updated to their latest versions on your site . . .” the PayPal buttons I have installed on my site get corrupted and I have to redo them. This happens multiple times quarterly.

Can someone please tell me how to make this stop happening.

You can disable automatic updates. You can do this either in the backend for each individual plugin, or under “Updates” for the WordPress core. There are also plugins that can help you with this: https://de.wordpress.org/plugins/tags/disable-updates/

Alternatively, you can also control the plugins yourself using PHP code: https://kinsta.com/blog/wordpress-automatic-updates/

Regarding the PayPal issue, I would recommend contacting the support team for the plugin you’re using. They’ll be best able to help you with this.
