help with sitemap

hello,i am using yoast seo plugin and trying to generate xml sitemap and i enabled the option but i dont see any sitemap generated

can anyone tell what was exactly happened and also if i dont want yoast to provide xml sitemap then what to do

when trying to install other sitemap it says,you cant have two sitemaps and in case if i cant generate sitemap with yoast,if i stop enabling it then will it be fine?
