Help with Single.php being like home page

So, I’m doing some work for a client who has has a theme designed and coded. However, the coder decided to make the post and pages come up the same as the home page. Here’s the code from the single.php:

I need for this page to just have the title and content there, just like a regular post page. When I go to remove the “thumbnail” stuff it shifts the sidebar and footer? Any help any one?
