1. I don’t see any “color” in your sidebar that should strech
2. When looking around on sites, it is good to have tools to see what they are doing: the bg “color” on that site is an image – http://www.ebeautydaily.com/wp-content/themes/eBeautyDaily/images/container.png
3. google for “faux column”
