    Hi,

I’m having a terrible time trying to get my menus to work.

I have four top level pages on the horizontal menu bar, with one of them being the static page Home and another the static page: “Blog Central”. I have a lot of pages lower in the page hierarchy for different blog pages. (I’m using pages and not categories).

    Two Problems:

    1) No matter how many times I’ve tried to make the Home and “Blog Central” pages static pages, the “Home’ keeps showing up with a box to post blog shares on. On the Blog Central page, there is a search box coming up on the page saying what I’m looking for does not exist.

    2) The second problem is I can’t get the lower level blog pages (which are created as sub-pages of the “Blog Central” page, to show up in the menu.

When I originally started this blog, I used the Twenty-Ten theme and the submenus came up automatically. I changed themes to Star Ocean, and now it’s impossible to figure out how to get those submenus to show up.

The kind of menu I want is just to have the four top level menu items to list horizontally in the header. Then, I want the submenus (which are all under “Blog Central”), to appear vertically under Blog Central when the user clicks on Blog Central, , and the sub-submenus to display vertically under any submenus in the same fashion.

    Any Ideas?

    David Craig
