HELP with .htaccess

    Hi all..

    Would appreciate it very much if anyone could help me with .htaccess.

    This is what came out when i edited my permalinks.

    If your .htaccess file were writable, we could do this automatically, but it isn’t so these are the mod_rewrite rules you should have in your .htaccess file. Click in the field and press CTRL + a to select all.

    And the problem is where to find the .htaccess file and update it. i tried looking for it however i couldn’t find it. pleaseeeeeee help me.

    The file may not exist yet because WP was unable to create it on your server – that is the problem. If you have FTP, create a file on your own computer called .htaccess It should be a text file with no extension. Then copy the code WordPress is telling you it couldn’t write, and paste it into that file.

    Then FTP that file into the root folder on your server, the folder in which WP is installed.

    That’s all.
