Help with Event List format/layout

    Hi, I am trying to make an event list page that shows all the events for each day, that has the day of the week above it, along with the month and day.

    Example:

    Friday, April 25

    Event Title Link1 – 7:30 pm – 10:00 pm

    Event Title Link2 – 7:30 pm – 10:00 pm

    Saturday, April 26

    Event Title Link1 – 7:30 pm – 10:00 pm

    Event Title Link2 – 7:30 pm – 10:00 pm

    Sunday, April 27

    Event Title Link1 – 7:30 pm – 10:00 pm

    Event Title Link2 – 7:30 pm – 10:00 pm

    Hi,

    Have you tried setting the Events page grouping to Daily under Events > Settings > Formatting > Events?

    Yes, I’ve tried that. Using grouped mode seems to be what I am looking for.

    When I use this on a page:

    [events_list_grouped mode=”montly”]#_EVENTLINK[/events_list_grouped]

    It comes out as:

    April 25

    Event Title Link
    Event Title Link

    April 26

    Event Title Link
    Event Title Link

    How can I have it include the day of the week like:

    Wednesday, April 25

    yes, using the same settings page please check field ‘Events page grouping date format’ – http://codex.wordpress.org/Formatting_Date_and_Time
