Help with Dashboard Screen

I have been using WP for a while now and just recently the Dashboard screen seems to have changed. I am sure that previously the menu items down left side showed both an icon and text but now i can only see the icons.

It seems like the window on right is covering up the text. See screenshot HERE

Any suggestions for why it has changed or how I get back to seeing the text would be much appreciated!
