Help with big images.

    Hello.
    IM seeking help. Accoring to google, this is one of the things, that make my site slow:

    “Consider postponing the loading of hidden and off-screen images until after all critical resources have been loaded to reduce the time it takes for the page to become interactive.”

    I have a slideshow, (the first one on the homepage), and those images are pretty big. Google says i could use AMP plugin to fix the issue with AMP plugin… How? They link to this article:

    Thanks for reaching out. While using the AMP plugin can help with your sites performance if you’re looking for improvements when it comes to the slideshow images you may wish to compress and upload images smaller in file size. The images I checked are over 1mb in file size (example). You can use a service such as squoosh.app to resize images.

    If you’re considering using AMP also note that your slideshow at present isn’t AMP compatible, with custom JavaScript having some restrictions in AMP URLs. In addition it doesn’t look like your theme is fully AMP compatible.

    To start and test out AMP on your site you can use reader mode, which works best for users of themes which are not fully AMP compatible. You can use one of the available reader mode themes for your AMP URLs, while the non AMP version of your site won’t be impacted.
