help to database export and import for wordpress

    I am trying to export a db for wordpress from phpmyadmin
    i am using phpmyadmin 3.4.5
    my database name is ‘ils’ , it is working in localhost fine,
    i referred few sites, but all of that is explaining with the old version
    and i am not seeing a ‘save as’ option in my version
    can anybody help me in this case

    Try asking your hosts for assistance. This isn’t really a WordPress issue.

    i am new to wordpress & my sql, i am facing problems in exporting a db from the phpmyadmin and importing it in to my host’s database…

    If you have access to phpmyadmin simply click on the database and use click on the “export” tab at the top. From there you should be able to export an SQL file which is the complete database.
