Help requested

Hi Bill. I hope you have a moment to help me – I’m new to WP and so if things are not spelled out for a layman they just don’t seem to work for me. Here is the issue: we have started a catologue/eShop page on our site, theme is Twenty Eleven, and no matter what I try to do the thumbnails just keep coming up in a square with huge sections cropped off.

I installed your plugin, activated it, and tried a couple of things without success in the image override metabox. In essence, what do I have to do to get my full image to appear not cropped, yet proportionate to the space? The space available for the thumbnail/featured image in the panels is 250 x 150.
