• I am modifying a theme that I found online. I am adding an additional navigation menu below the main navigation menu. Based on the page selected via the main navigation menu, the additional navigation menu will have different links in it. This part I already have functioning. I also want to stylize each sub-navigation menu a different color.

For example here’s my current menu structure:

    Home
    Film/TV
    -Featured Filmmaker of the Week
    Music
    -Featured Artist of the Week
    Technology
    Games
    Business
    Webseries
    Contests
    Words of the Day
    Store
    Forum
    About
    Contact

When the Film/TV page is loaded for example, an additional navigation menu comes up right below the primary one. This menu needs to be stylized a different color for each page.
Here’s a live example of this working: http://www.andrewmccarrick.com/blog

Now where my issues are; when the page is loaded, I need the little white area on the main navigation menu to be the same color as the sub menu. I also need the little gray area under the links on the sub-menu to be the same color as the sub-menu.

Finally, when a page loaded from the sub-menu, I need the main navigation menu to stay the same color as the sub-menu, and the bit under the link on the sub-menu to be white.

Here’s an image showing the way things are now, and what I want.
