    (I assume I’m using version 4.1?)

I’m using eighties theme, and I want to modify the menu on the side that only contains the Home link and the About link.

I have 3 categories of blog post and want to have a link to a page with all those particular posts under each category.

    So example:

    Click menu button
    -Home
    -Topic A
    -Topic B
    -Topic C
    -About

I’m no good at coding or any of the real techy stuff so any help would be appreciated.

  • You should be able to do that all in the WordPress “Menu” Editor: No coding involved!

    1. First, go to WP-Admin.
    2. Hover over the Appearance line, and click on Menus
    3. Create a new menu, or save a menu.
    4. Add the categories/Pages you’d like. You can click and drag to move them around
    5. Then, go to Manage Locations on that Menu page. Set the menu you just created as the “Primary Menu”.

You should be all set. Let me know how that goes.

Thank you very much – after a little bit of fiddling around with some broken categories it’s all there!
