Help? Missing area in Posts

    Hi, When I am trying to add a new post I am not seeing the visual editor, the text appears white and there is none of the visual editor buttons that should be there. I have tried to re-install wordpress, this didn’t work. I emptied my browser cache and I have tried on several browsers and all the same issue. It worked fine when I used wordpress.com but now I have updated to wordpress.org I have this issue. I am very new to all this website design, hosting etc so would be grateful if u could help.

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
