• I’ve googled to my hearts content but I cannot find a definate answer to my issues.

This is the site I am building – http://amethystreflexology.co.uk/reflexology/

It looks fine on my desktop both google and firefox. However, when my friend views it on her laptop via firefox, it comes up very large and words are hyphenated where they don’t fit across the screen. She can manually adjust the screen size so it fits but then the widgets on the side become barely readable.

In IE, the colours in the widgets and footer are not the same as google and firefox.

    What am I doing wrong?

  • Don’t have IE handy to test the colour issue, but it sounds like your friend has text zooming enabled in their browser. have them press Control+0 (zero) to reset it.

Thanks – will try that out on her laptop (she’s a technophobe)

Can anyone else help re: IE?
