• After encountering multiple redirect issues on my site, I installed the fix multiple redirects plugin, which now seems to have totally locked me out and I’m getting an ‘Internal Server Error’ message.

If anyone is able to help, that’d be great. I currently can’t access anything!

    The URL is http://alexparsonsmusic.com

    Many thanks!

Problem solved… I changed htaccess to htaccess.txt, then changed my permalink structure, so now all seems to be in order.

This self written and extermeley poor advise needs to be ignored.

    Are you going to elaborate?

I followed advice on this thread: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/500-internal-server-error-24?replies=8

Giving htaccess the .txt extension (as the thread suggested) allowed me to access my site again, then changing the permalink structure solved the multiple redirect problem that was occurring before.

Seemed effective to me, but will this create problems in the future?
