Help Identifying Location of Code

I apologize in advance for what may seem like a very dumb question. I certainly feel dumb at the moment. There is no support forum for this theme.

I am using the Makoto Theme by Elated and simply trying to understand/learn how to customize it. I am familiar with HTML/CSS with a basic understanding of PHP and JS, but I didn’t realize how complex this theme would seem to me.

My question:

The centered letter images in the middle of the slider. There is a max width percentage defined SOMEWHERE that I would simply like to increase. You can see my custom image is wider than the template images, causing it to be smaller relative to screen size. I will be using those proportions for the images on all five sliders, so would like to change it for all sliders. I’d just like to find the backend file this parameter exists within. Unless there is a frontend / Dashboard way of changing or defining this?

I would like to use the loading sequence/slider in the above, but transitioning into the main page I’m working on rather than the page they provide. If anyone has a hint as to how I would separate the two, I’d appreciate that.
