HELP!! I have trouble downloading WordPress.

    Where did you download it from? LOL! Because WordPress is always in a .zip file… make sure you’ve got the latest version from http://wordpress.org.

    No it isnt.

    the filename latest.zip is in a zip file. wordpress is available in a tar.gz archive as well.

    Oop- you’re right. Anyway- it’s always available in compressed form. I should have phrased that better- the main download button always goes straight to a .zip. Make sure that’s the version you’re downloading. Thanks for the correction, whooami!
