Help! I accidentally deleted everything!

    I’ve been using WordPress through GoDaddy for about two years. Two days ago, I accidentally deleted the root file from my FTP for the site. I want to fix it, but when I go to log in through the wp-login screen, it just takes me to a 404 error. I think I really screwed this up. It won’t even let me reapply wordpress to the subdomain from scratch through the hosting site! Is it possible to fix this, or do I have to create an entirely new subdomain now?

    Ask your hosting provider if they have a backup of your site from prior to this issue.

    They should have a backup of your site. Ask them restore it.

    You can do the same if you have kept a good backup of your site/WordPress.
