    Try to finish updating your site first…

    //violetthecannibal.co.uk/wp-admin/upgrade.php

    “Database Update Required

    WordPress has been updated! Before we send you on your way, we have to update your database to the newest version.

    The update process may take a little while, so please be patient.”

    ..see if that helps anything. If not, troubleshoot whatever plugin or redirect you are using to force ssl over your admin pages.

    I also see you have made some effort to obscure your version in your source code, so don’t forget to remove the 3.2.1 readme.html file located in root, if that’s of any concern.

    Hi James

    Thank you for writing
    It had been prompting me to upgade to 3.2.1 or whatever 🙂
    I think the obscure thing you mention, was me deleting files from the cpanel.. I got it back, by down grading to what it orginally was .3 1 1. I think i’ll just leave it alone. I really thought I had lost everything. I couldnt log in nothing..

    If it aint broke don’t fix it !

    Glad it seems to work for you, but you sort of missed my hint completely. Go to your login link and read what it says – use /wp-admin, not /wp-login.php

    version 3.1.1 is broke. It’s quite likely that your solution will eventually result in your site being hacked.
