help/ child theme switch.. vantam lawyer

i switched to a child theme by copying over all the files to my

child theme named exactly after the orig theme but with -child as it says

too… My menu is not showing up and some widgets are not showing up

on the new child theme.. everything else yes…

there is this option vantam asks me, do i want to….

Content Import Import Dummy Content
Widget Import Import Widgets
Slider Revolution Import Slider Revolution Samples

now in the info button on each section it says

for the widget section on the info tab
((((Using this importer will overwrite your current sidebar settings))))

I am afraid to import the widgets to child because of the overwrite??

also My menu is not visible anymore on main page/

Can anyone please assist? Ill be staying up untill its done :/
