PLEASE HELP!!! I need easy to understand and follow directions. See problem below.

    My website is http://thevirtualvisionary.com

I followed directions to use Childify theme to create a child theme in order to edit the functions.php file. I wanted to move home page content above the featured pages. I followed directions from here: http://presscustomizr.com/snippet/add-content-above-featured-pages/

Method 2 says to insert my HTML inside “$before_fp var, in between the single quotes.” But I did not know what my HTML was, and thought I was supposed to use the longer code from method 1. So I put all the code in method 1 where it told me to in method 2. Then my site crashed and I got the error message and cannot get back into the editor to delete it.

Obviously I did something wrong because now when I try to access my dashboard or any part of my site, my screen ONLY shows this error message: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘/’ in /home/thevir17/public_html/wp-content/themes/customizr-child-theme/functions.php on line 6

I cannot get back into ANY files to change code. I cannot access any part of my site AT ALL. How do I fix this?!?!?!!

Please give VERY CLEAR STEP-BY-STEP directions as I am new to coding.
