Try disabling all plugins (or manually moving them from the /plugins directory). Also, enable the default Twenty Fourteen theme.
Your problems are likely to be with some plugin or theme which has code that did not anticipate the changes made in 3.92 once you find out which plugin or theme it is contact the author and let them know that 3.92 breaks their code. Updates for well-maintained plugins and themes still can take a few days to roll out.

I was having these problems before I updated to 3.9.2. Strange!
I can write/edit in the text edit, but not the visual. It’s just blank and I can’t click my cursor into it.

You can change your theme in the admin. Not sure what you mean.

I have had a good look through, but to be honest I don’t always understand the descriptions – the techy jargon confuses me.
