    Hi,
I am using the Vigor theme on the website, this evening I tried to add a block of code to change text on the woocommerce button and haven’t been able to access my website since.

I do not have access to the wordpress dashboard. As per suggestions in the other posts on the forum,I have tried accessing the backend via CPanel and ftp but I can’t access any URLs that mention the domain name.

The hosting service has provided with this error info>
[03-Apr-2017 17:01:21 UTC] PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected end of file in /home/kaleim7n/public_html/wp-content/themes/vigor/functions.php on line 1858

Request you to please let me know how to resolve this.

    Thank you

your Vigor theme seems to be the error.

To confirm, try switching to the unedited default Theme (Twenty Sixteen.) for a moment using FTP/ SFTP , or your web-host’s cPanel or whatever file management application your host provides (no Dashboard access required).

I have tried doing that, via FTP as well as the the PHPFileNavigator but I keep getting a cannot connect to the server error. :-/

Have you discussed this server connection issue with your hosting provider?

Managed to get in through FTP and switch the themes.

Lost some info, but most of it is there. Phew!

    Thanks a ton! 🙂
