Hi I need help quick – I want to remove the login page as the default homepage.

When you go to the website it redirects straight to the login page I want it to go straight to the homepage, how do I do this and make my website public.

    Thank you

  • Hi @capital123, so your site goes straight to a login page rather than a homepage?

Do you have any member’s only plugins running which is locking the site down? Default wordpress installations will (if all has gone well) land straight on the default homepage.

Do you have any plugins or separate themes running that may be interfering?

Not that I know of….. it seems to redirect

    http://www.allthebestplaces.com redirects to http://allthebestplaces.com/website/wp-login.php?loggedout=true

but can´t find where this redirect is and how to remove it?

Huumm, that’s odd. I’d try maybe disabling plugins that are to do with restriction / user roles, like Page Restrict and see if the problem is resolved.

obviously check settings > reading and make sure your homepage is set to your homepage.

I had an issue with Page Restrict doing something similarly as strange to me – redirecting login to a 404, disabled it and everything returned as usual.

    Might be worth trying?
