    Hi,

I lie your plugin, and I have some suggests if you allow me.

I suggest to change the name in settings option to the plugin name and make it “Events Made Easy Options” , because there are many events plugins and I’m confused.
    example: https://ibb.co/mwMq7a

I also suggest to change the plugin menu name from “Events” to “Events ME” or “EME” , it will make the plugin special because there are many plugins have the same menu name!! , and change “Edit” in the menu to “All Events”.

there is one thing very important, there is no User Capabilities, example: https://ibb.co/eA3L7a

In Pricing Options – Currency, Can you please add: SAR – Saudi Arabian Riyal

also there is no Timezone settings, Exp: https://ibb.co/gNVgfv , Date Format settings, Exp: https://ibb.co/mOAYSa

check these options, Exp: https://ibb.co/jwr7na , add First day of the week, in Date Format, Exp: https://ibb.co/n7Hxna

And make the Locations settings more simple, Exp: https://ibb.co/dk19YF , so we can add location which is countries and cities as sub of country, and make new option in the menu which is Places “Venues”, Exp: https://ibb.co/noDL7a , now it will be more clearer and if you can make places “Venues” sub of city, it will be better 🙂 , don’t forget to make tags system!

and could you please do something to support Multi languages and WPML plugins and support RTL. try to make the plugin compatible With WooCommerce, BuddyPress, Mailchirp for subscribe, users plugins.

try to make the plugin settings more clearer, check this plugin settings: https://wordpress.org/plugins/events-maker

your plugin features is acutely like this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/events-manager/ , and your plugin is free, so work hard to make it popular, just make it more clearer and modern.

that’s all for now, thanks a lot

    Hi,

There are user capabilities settings. Check the EME settings for that tab ‘Access’).
Concerning multi language : EME is ready for that without additional settings (qtranslate-like style ). I know this might not be what you want, but I also try to support wpml (almost all settings can have multilingual values, if the language plugin used provides shortcode options per language ).
Concerning the SAR : see http://www.e-dynamics.be/wordpress/faq/ , there is a section on adding more currencies. If SAR is accepted by PayPal I’ll add it to the default list.
And for date time settings: see the doc on the relevant placeholders, you can get it to look any way you want. See http://www.e-dynamics.be/wordpress/category/documentation/7-placeholders/7-2-events/ (time info is at the bottom ).
Concerning timezone: it uses the wordpress timezone settings (currently events in other timezones are not really supported, but the code is ready for it).
First day of week: it uses the wordpress setting for that.
I’ll take into account your suggestions for the menu naming (there is no EME part in the wordpress Settings menu, so I can’t change that), it will be in the next version.
Concerning many other of your questions: I’m not trying to mimic another events manager (in the past EME grew out of Events-Manager but that’s it), and I don’t see the advantage here for woocommerce, mailchimp, … (except for mailing). Many of those options would require an extensive amount of work, and I’m doing it all on the side (and it is totally free!). Since events are not posts, I’m limited to what extend wordpress stuff can be taken, but anyway: I’ll keep all these suggestions in mind.

yes SAR is accepted by PayPal.

about timezone I know it uses the wordpress timezone settings but the problem some events are in different timezone than the website !, same about First day of week.

    thanks anyway

“First day of week” is for the calendar on your site. WP currently doesn’t support timezone per logged in user, so it is useless to show a calendar for another timezone you don’t know about … You can however activate the option to use the client clock (see EME options).
Concerning timezones: see my previous remark. In your case: translate the hour to your timezone and activate the client clock option, see if that helps.
