Hi Rodica, that was what it looks like now. I changed it to the hamburger menu style to avoid the sticky text issue, would you like me to switch to the previous style if it will help you diagnose what’s going on? Thank you for replying by the way!
Hi,
Yes, I can have a look and try to see what’s wrong.

Hi Rodica, done, you can see it now on the home page!
Hi,
You can check the value you have setup for Items Spacing (px) in Appearance > Customize > Header > Primary Menu

That was the first thing I tried, @rodicaelena. But as you can see on the homepage, the header doesn’t obey this setting.
I just noticed it is the same with the sub heads too – if you see the grey text is almost unreadable, but even when I change the text colour to white in the customiser and in the post page it still defaults to grey instead.
Do you use any caching plugins? Maybe that could cause the style to not apply?
Could you try deactivating any plugins you are using to see if any of them is causing this?

OMG thanks @rodicaelena! I should have checked the plugins first, you were right. The issue funnily enough was not W3 Cache but Speed Booster instead. Disabled the latter and the site functioned as I wanted. Thank you so much!

Solved, issue was caused by conflicting plugin.
