    Hi there, firstly sorry because I know that this has been posted many times because I’ve read them all trying to sort this out.

    I am using WP2 with the Default template. I’ve been trying put my own image in the header. I’ve tried using the personalheader.jpg method, the kubrickheader.jpg replacement method and changing the code. Not being particularly savvy with code this wasn’t a good idea.

    I’ve reinstalled WP and replaced the kubrickheader.jpg with one I just got from kubrickr. Could you please read my page source to see if it is anything obvious. As you may have worked out I am a complete novice at this. The website is http://www.jamtec.co.uk.

    Many thanks, Jim.

  • I can’t know if you have done this, but if you replace the ‘personalheader.jpg with your own image, you then have to look in ‘header.php’ and remove the /* and */ from here:

    /*
    #headerimg { background: url('http://jamtec.co.uk/wp-content/themes/default/images/personalheader.jpg') no-repeat top;}
    */

    That should let yours appear. Or have you done that?

    Podz, thanks so much. It worked.

    I think that I tried this before but did’t put the correct address in for the image. I’ll know from now on tho.

    Jim.
