    I have tried various ways and sizes of uploading my header image but it always shows double.

    See screenshot: https://prnt.sc/hi0oxj

  • Do you have any image plugins enabled? I had to dump the Smush plugin, because it was ruining my images…I just redid a whole gallery with all new uploads manually resized images instead of using Smush…I guess there’s no substitute for doing things correctly…no shortcuts. LOL but there are many image plugins that can cause issues…jetpack’s image feature are infamous for problems.

    forget what this used to say…

    try removing the sticky border and see if it does anything…

    Thanks for all the suggestions. Nothing worked but I found a way around it. I added a border at the top of the page.

    .header-bg {
    border-top: 40px solid #000 !important; }

    I think the issue had to do with the responsive images overlapping each other. By adding a border at the top you can’t see it.
