• Hello guys,

I’m using Writerblog theme, but that problem happens when I use other themes as well so I guess it’s not the theme’s fault.

    Hello everyone,

I’m trying to upload a header image and the header image contrainer has a fixed width and height that fits the website. The problem is that is doesn’t scale the image to fit into the container ratio, instead I just see only part of the image and the rest of the image is not visible. I tried to use photoshop to change the height of the image but when I decrease it, WordPress just zooms in for some reason, and I never see whole of the image.

What could be the problem in your opinion?

    Thanks in advance

  • I suspect that WordPress has never seen the new image and is using the original one.

Give the photoshop resized one a new and distinct name, place it in your header.
View the website and use a browser inspector to check that the image is the correct name, and the css is showing it correctly.

It would help us help you if you included a link to your website.

delete the original image. Resize it offline. Upload it again

Hey guys thanks for your answers. I did make sure that it uses a different image each time. Just inspected the element and it did replace it. But still no luck, I just don’t get it.

I will upload the website and then share a link

    Thanks again!
