Header and footer not full width

Hi,
here’s the deal, on my category and product pages my header/footer is full width.

on the pages I’ve built (using elementor) ie the about page, it’s restricted to a narrow width which doesn’t look as good.

I’ve created another page not using elementor and it comes out full width

the header and footer I have is not created on elementor

any advice would be really appreciated
