Header and Footer missing when using Static front page

    This is on https://uboosta.com/

    I have the Front Page/Home page set to a Static page. On that static page I chose a template that came with the theme to show all the “offers” (its a crowdfunding type of site)

    Some reason when you go to https://uboosta.com/ it will not show the header and footer. If you click on the offer it will show you the header and footer. If I physically go to that page (https://uboosta.com/offers/) that I set as the Static front page, it does show the header and footer.

    I do not understand how to get them on it. I messed with it for 4 hours last night.

    Hi @customgt.

    I guess that the template you chose doesn’t show the header and footer. Look if the template file has the functions wp_head() and wp_footer().

    Ok. What template file does it use when it is set to static front page?
    Or is that a theme specific question, and not a wordpress specific question?

    First, a correction about what I said before: you need to look if the template file has the functions get_header() and get_footer(). Sorry.

    It’s a theme specific question.
