Hello! I really like this theme.

I almost have this theme customized the way I would like it to work with my hotel. So far, I have moved the title and description to the top left and customized the colors a bit. However, there are two things that I want to do though to make it perfect and I need your help. Here is the URL: http://featheredfedoradesign.com/hotel-sc

First off, I want to make the header image into a slideshow with clickable captions. Normally, I would just plug in a slideshow, but it breaks the header quite a bit when done this way as the header image is set as the background image.

Secondly, I want the submenu to be more like this: http://www.frenchlick.com/. Where it is horizontal and contains images. I have the menu structure such that I want it to appear similar to the below example:

    Accommodations
    | Room Types
    | ———–
    Book Now | Traditional Rooms
    (button) | Deluxe Rooms
    | Suites

Anybody have any ideas on how best to accomplish this without breaking things? The mobile menu is fine if it stays the way it is.

    Hi ahoffman50,

You could use a slideshow in the header either by creating a slideshow plugin that uses full-width images (with background-size: cover;), or by using a slideshow plugin that is centered in the header and fades out on the edges. Neither solution would be easy to accomplish, though. Same goes for the submenu.

I would recommend you to hire a web developer who can help you with implementing the updates. Let me know if you need any more help.

I am new to WordPress. Could someone briefly point me in the correct direction as to use the submenu option within Hemingway theme?

    Disregard. Fixed.
