HAVP message

The content area of my webpages has
HAVP
The following server is down: (and there is nothing after the colon)
Connection failed

Apart from that things work, but it is a bit disconcerting to have the above (large – takes half the screen) on every page.

The right url is http://www.lachlanness.com

Is HAVP (HTTP Anit Virus Proxy) part of a plugin you installed? I can’t find anything that relates it to a specific plugin for WordPress.

It looks like the web site related to HAVP hasn’t been updated since 2010, so they may have abandoned the product.

Thanks Matt. I had looked at the plugins and nothing looked suspicious. I will try switching them off one by one.

Tomoe.. Try to de-active your plugin one by one.
You’ll find which plugin cause the problem.

Thanks. Problem is I can’t see the error on my computer (or on other computer I tried), but the client does and some of his user too…

Sounds like you just need to set up a more concrete way of replicating the issue.
If deactivating your plugins hadn’t worked then I don’t think you’re experiencing the same problem and you can create your own thread here: https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting#postform
