Having trouble with imported content

Hello,

I recently installed wordpress.org to my domain which im hosting with GoDaddy, i have a wordpress.com account as well and I tried exporting and importing my content to the new site, on my dashboard I can only see 6 of my 8 posts but it is not showing on the website itself and I’m getting so frustrated because I have no idea how ti fix it and when I do the import it says sorry the page cannot be found, am i doing something wrong with the process or is it all just in my head, any help would be welcomed. Thank you
