    HI,

    I Use Better WP Security on ALL of my Sites–I am having a Big Issue!

    I have updated most of the sites to 3.5.2 but here is issue Please Help!

    I am getting Internal Server Errors (500) EVERY TIME my sites clears cache or make any change! This causes it to RE WRITE to my .htaccess file. This in turn makes my site NOT ACCESSIBLE from front or backend!

    Please help! I am dying! 🙂

    PS- I cleared .htaccess code to access site but that only gives me a short time!
    THere was a TON of code put into the file!!!

    It sounds some settings have saved in your database. So if you re-enable the plugin, it will show errors immediately. You may need to perform a clean (re)installation. Read below (especially item no. 2):

    Hi,

    @ Handoko thanks that is not the issue I didn’t have back end hidden, however I did that ONCE a long time ago and when I figured it out after like 2 hours I never did that again! 🙂

    the fixes i did as suggested in last post seemed to be working but i havent been back on that site since several days ago, but i did check in the .htaccess file on my host and the “problem” re-write was not there the next day so I think that unchecking the 3 places suggested worked!

    If any changes I will start new thread

    PS. I am now using ManageWP, and theres conflicts with plugin there as well 🙁
